The Independent Small Farmers Union (UCI) based in the states of Puebla and Veracruz celebrated 10 years of struggle in 1985. Rini traveled to the coastal region on the Gulf of Mexico to record the life of coffee workers and to help them during an electoral campaign. "To win a wage of 130 pesos per kilo of coffee, vote UCI" says the slogan.
